According to the press service of the Ministry of Labor, the parties discussed issues related to the increase of quota for the representatives of Uzbekistan, simplification of the process of issuing permits, as well as ensuring objectivity, fairness and transparency in the selection process.
The issues related to the establishment of the Agency’s representation on the issues of external labor migration of the Uzbek Ministry of Labor in the Republic of Korea were discussed separately, the press service of the Uzbek Labor Ministry reports.
Proposals were made on new mechanisms for recruiting workers, including those based on regional quotas, actively involving the public in the control of the process, as well as carrying out explanatory work among the population on legal work in the Republic of Korea.
The parties agreed to raise cooperation between the authorized bodies in the field of labor migration “to a qualitatively new level.”
